Tohoku University has launched the Advanced Molecular Chemistry (AMC) course, a new undergraduate chemistry program, with lectures in English through the "Global 30" Future Global Leadership program. The AMC course offers students education and research opportunities in materials chemistry, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, polymer and biopolymer chemistry, physical and biophysical chemistry, and chemical biology. Through the AMC course, students will acquire academic knowledge and laboratory skills necessary to be successful researchers in these fields. The international character of the course and comprehensive curriculum will prepare students for global leadership roles both in academia and industry.
