2019 CWAJ (College Women's Association of Japan) Scholarship (NJG)

The College Women's Association of Japan (CWAJ) has announced 2019 scholarship for non-Japanese women who are enrolled in graduate degree programs at Japanese universities.

Eligibility Requirements

〇Applicants must be women who are neither Japanese citizens nor Special Permanent Residents of Japan. Applicants must be enrolled in a degree program with a graduate school of a Japanese university from April 2019 to March 2020.

〇Applicants must be residing in Japan at the time of application. Individuals currently studying or living abroad are ineligible. We therefore regret that we are unable to accept applications from outside Japan.

〇Submit an essay in English.

The following are ineligible:
〇Holders of scholarships greater than ¥1.5 million from other scholarship programs are ineligible. Financial aid and awards from the university where the applicant will study may not be subject to the same limitation.

〇Former recipients of CWAJ awards and members of CWAJ.

2 million yen (2 recipients)

From Monday, October 15 through Tuesday, October 23, 2018
