I study now about an emission, which occurs with an aurora of the earth. In particular, I focus on the "Auroral roar emission" in emissions generated by particles, which originate aurora occurrence, and study its process of development and environment of the ionosphere for occurrence.

I had often watched images of planets, auroras, and galactic systems on TV since childhood, and I have sensuously thought that the universe was great.
The beauty of the picture of aurora in the homepage of science space geophysics department in addition to love of physics and interest in the universe motivated me to be interested in and study this area when I thought about the course during high school days.

I belong to the sumo club now, and make a strong effort to not only the study but also the club activities for four years. I have often been asked about the study and club activities but it is possible to combine them. In addition, I think that I concentrate on the study precisely because I do the club activities.
Needless to say, Tohoku University is the most suitable place for the study of the space earth physics. And the university is a place where you can find out what you want to do and you can do it.
I will study while being taught by seniors until the graduation and challenge the work that I wanted to do in a different field after graduation.
