Ms. Jenna Wen Ju Wu was awarded KURODA Chika Prize and Mr. Muhammad Shoufie Ukhtary was awarded the prizes of Aoba Society for the Promotion of Science for 2017 Academic year, on March 14, 2018.

*The Aoba Society for the Promotion of Science, since its foundation in 1999, has annually conferred three types of prizes to recognize graduate students' researches which have made significant contributions to the field, and to encourage undergraduate students for their future research.
Of the three, KURODA Chika Prize is specifically set up for female graduate students who have produced outstanding achievements during their doctoral studies.
