JASSO, Japan Student Services Organization, released the application information on one of their programs, "Follow-up Research Fellowship for 2024".
This is to invite you to conduct joint research with your ex-supervisor and the relevant researchers.
If interested, please contact your supervisor on how to proceed.
*The deadline for the university is November 13!

・Beneficiary: Returnees from Japan with nationalities of developing countries and regions
・Eligibility: Under 45 years old. At least one year after returning from Japan
・Research period: 60-90 consecutive days
・Benefits: (1) Round-trip Airfare and (2) Daily allowance (¥11,000/day) for the recipient
*The "Remuneration for cooperation (up to ¥50,000) for the research advisor" mentioned on the JASSO site is not applicable to Tohoku University, since the guidance provided for the project is considered as the advisor's normal line of work.
