Miyagi International Association (MIA) released its Emergency Cash Loan System for self-financed international students for 2020.
This is the system that enables international students to maintain a stable financial environment when something emergency occurs.

<Eligibility>
Self-financed degree-seeking international students whose residence statusise "College Student".

(Non-degree students including Research students, Special Auditing students, and Special Research students are not eligible to apply for the system.)

<Expenses that qualify for a loan>
For living expenses, housing fees, medical treatment, disaster relief, or expenses for an emergency trip home.

<Limitation of loan>
Up to 200,000 yen (interest-free)

＜How to apply＞
Submit the required application documents along with your student ID card and residence card to the association.

*The Student Support Section handles a part of the official stamp on the application form.
*The guarantor is required for the application.
