[Deadline: 5 pm, January 13] Student Emergency Aid for Continuance of Studies for Continued Studies (学びの継続のための「学生支援緊急給付金」)

This program is aimed at students whose lives have been financially impacted by a reduction of their household/part-time income due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students experiencing difficulties continuing their studies at universities etc. are eligible, upon application and screening, to receive a cash payment of JPY 100,000.

Those who wish to apply should read through "Program Overview" on the MEXT website and apply online. (No physical application is necessary)

*You must apply using a DCMail account. Applications are NOT accepted by postal mail or in person.
*Recipients of JASSO scholarship who received a scholarship payment on December 10, 2021 (and received a notice from the Student Affairs Information System on December 21) need not apply.
