Miyagi International Association (MIA) released its Emergency Cash Loan System for self-financed international students for 2024.
This is the system that enables international students to maintain a stable financial environment when something emergency occurs.

【Eligibility】
Self-financed degree-seeking international students whose residence status is "College Student".

(Non-degree students including Research students, Special Auditing students, and Special Research students are not eligible to apply for the system.)

【Expenses that qualify for a loan】
For living expenses, housing fees, medical treatment, disaster relief, or expenses for an emergency trip home.

【Limitation of loan】
Up to 200,000 yen (interest-free)

【How to apply】
See the application guide and submit the required application documents along with your student ID card and residence card to the association.

*The guarantor is required for the application.
