[Female Graduate Students] Subsidy for Overseas Academic Presentations (Zonta Club I)

"Sendai I Zonta Club" provides a participation fee support program for female graduate students presenting their research at international conferences.

Female graduate students enrolled at Tohoku University
・The applicant must have this status at the time of attending the conference in question.
・There are no requirements pertaining to nationality or field of research.
※ Preference will be given to applicants with little prior experience in presenting research at international conferences. 

<Application requirements>
1. The research presentation will be given at an international academic conference during the period
from April 2024 to March 2025. (This excludes events such as seminars, symposiums, and academic
society committee meetings.)
2. The applicant will participate in order to give a research presentation on a specific topic.
- Graduate students will be participating for the purpose of presenting their research.

<Support details>
Costs of presenting at an international conference
(participation fee, registration fee, travel expenses, etc.: up to 200,000 yen)

<Application documents>
Please check the following and submit the required documents.

1) Application form (Attachment 9)
Please download it from the DEI Center website (Next Generation Development Program).

2) Abstract of the presentation (planned) in English (any format)
3) Documents outlining the international conference you will be attending (notification of the event or program, etc.)

<How to apply>
Upload all application documents in PDF format to Google Form.

<Submission Deadline>
First Term: Friday, May 31
Second Term: Friday, November 29th
