The KDDI Foundation (KDDI財団) has released its scholarship application information for 2025.
<Eligibility>
Applicant must:
- be a student researching Information Technology or related areas in the fields of Law, Politics, Economics, Social Science, and Science Technology
- be a student enrolling in a Master's or Doctoral program
- be from target countries (see the application guide on page 5)
- has a "Student" status of residence
- be an age of 35 or younger as of April 1, 2025
* A graduate research student who is expected to enroll in the regular graduate program in April 2025 is NOT eligible to apply
* A master's student who is going on to the doctoral program from April 2025 can fulfill the eligibility
* Those students who are in the Doctoral program are eligible to apply only when he/she expects to obtain the doctoral degree
*Only one international student can be recommended by his/her academic advisor
<Scholarship Amount>
100,000 yen/month
<Scholarship Period>
For 6 months or 12 months from April 1, 2025

July 19 (Friday), 2024
