This grant from the Tohoku Kaihatsu Memorial Foundation supports overseas research travel.

*Although the call was announced in December 2025, applications are still being accepted for travel from October 2026 to March 2027.
*Graduate students (enrolled in doctoral programs) are also eligible.
*There are no restrictions on nationality.

◆ Eligibility
・Faculty members, graduate students (in doctoral programs), and administrative staff
・A recommendation from a supervisor (e.g., academic advisor) is required.
・Age: Under 45 years of age (as of April 1 of the fiscal year in which the departure date falls)

◆ Support Details
Travel expenses, transportation costs abroad, and living expenses (20,000 yen × number of days supported)

◆ Grant Amount
Up to 500,000 yen

◆Relationship with Other Grants
・Recipients cannot receive this grant and the Foundation's "Scholarship for DC" in the same fiscal year.
・If travel expenses are provided by another source for the same overseas trip, overlapping expenses are generally ineligible for this grant.
