I am promoting development, operation and data analysis of GroundBIRD telescope dedicated for cosmic microwave background (CMB) polarization observations collaborating with researchers from Kyoto and Tsukuba universities and RIKEN. This is advanced through international collaboration among with Spain, Korea and The Netherlands. The telescope is installed at the Teide Observatory in Tenerife, Canary Islands. Tohoku University has been in charge of design, development and performance verification tests of the cutting edge super conducting millimeter wave detectors. Main purpose of the experiment is providing data for contributing to achieve ultimate goal of the CMB industry, that is observationally proving the inflationary theory which describes genesis of the universe. As related topics, thermal and optical properties of the cosmic very small dust grains are studied both from theoretically and observationally.

I distressed on my Raison d’Etre when I was high school student. Deeply trusted my class teacher said to me “you should study physics”. So I went on to study physics in university. I was belonging to theory group of the particle physics when I was the fourth grade undergraduate student. At there, I knew the inflationary theory and was strongly motivated to take part to research on genesis of the universe. Although I have been carrying out the studies of the observational cosmology with numerical hydrodynamic simulation, X-ray and millimeter and submillimeter observations of cluster of galaxies, and gravitational lensing, eventually I am working on genesis of the universe through CMB observations.

It was a long and winding road. While I tried my best to things which I had to do keeping the core of what I want really do, eventually I am working on the theme what I desired to do when I was fourth grade undergraduate student. I covered all cost of living and tuition through part-time jobs and scholarships. I felt fulfilled in contributing the society and studying with my own money in spare time. After I got job in university, I have been working on various things always considering the reason why I gets a salary.
