2023 Teijin Kumura Scholarship for Master's Course Students (帝人久村奨学金)

The Teijin Scholarship Foundation (帝人奨学会)has released its 2023 scholarship application information for Master's course students.


◆ Eligibility Requirements:
・Students who started a Master's course in October 2022 or who start studying in a Master's course in April 2023.
・Students who have more than one year until completing the standard master's course period as of April 2021

◆ Scholarship amount & payment period:
・50,000 yen/month
・From April 2023 until completing the standard master's course period

◆ Application Documents:

1) Application Form 志願者調書(designated form): ID photo required, Written in English acceptable, and it is allowed to use a computer to fill in.
2) Recommendation Letter 推薦調書(designated form): Filled by your supervisor
3) Academic Transcript: The latest transcript and the undergraduate-level transcript
※If you are unable to obtain the current program academic transcript, submitting only the undergraduate program is acceptable.
4) Research Abstract:2 or 3 pages in A4 size (Written in English acceptable)
5) Consent for the treatment of Personal data 個人情報の取り扱いに関する同意書(designated form)
6) Copy of the Residence Card (both sides)
7) Certificate of Enrollment
※Those who enter the master's course in April 2023 need to submit a copy of the "Letter of Acceptance" instead.
8) Economic status report: Information should be as of February 2023

*It is allowed to fill in the forms in English, however, there are no English forms available.

◆ Application Deadline:
Friday, February 10, 2023
Submit the documents to the Student Support Section via postal mail and also inform your application via email.

<Notes>
・We will inform you of a selection result within the School of Science by February 22. After you successfully pass a selection of Tohoku University, you will be recommended to the organization.
・If you come to the university campus, you are allowed to visit and submit to the Student Support Section window in the Aobayama campus.
・If you have any questions, please email the Student Support Section.
・As a rule, you can not apply for this one if you are receiving/applying for any other scholarships
