The Teijin Scholarship Foundation （帝人奨学会）has released their scholarship application information for Doctoral course students.

◆ Those who satisfy the conditions below:
1. The applicant must be a student in a medical/pharmaceutical science, bioscience, ecience, engineering or information-science related course at a designated university.
2. Students who have been admitted the Doctoral program either from October 2020 or April 2021.
*Those who have already applied for other scholarship or been selected as a scholarship recipient from a different organization are not eligible to apply.
**The applicant must be physically presented in Japan at the time of admission.

◆ Scholarship Amount:
60,000 yen/month

◆ Scholarship payment period:
From April 2021 to the completion of the Doctoral program

◆ How to apply:
Prepare following documents and submit them to the Student Support Section via postal mail or in-campus mail (gakunai-bin) by Tuesday, September 1, 2020.

・Application form：paste ID photo, it should be filled out by hand with a pen (in English acceptable)
・Recommendation form：it should be filled by your supervisor
・Academic transcript：the latest one from the undergraduate program if you are from other than Tohoku University
・Health certificate：the one issued within 12 months
※If you are not able to obtain the certificate issued by Tohoku University, the one issued by other medical institution is also acceptable.
・Research abstruct you are currently engaging (any format）：2 or 3 pages in A4-size（in English acceptable）
・Consent form about handling personal information
・Copy of Residence card (both sides)
・Economic status report

Application documents are allowed to fill in English, however, there is no English version forms available other than the application guide.
