Welcome to the GS of Science! New Student Orientation 2026

Oct 2, 2026

DiRECT held a New Student Orientation on September 30.
Firstly, Dean Prof. Nobuo Tsuzuki welcomed 35 new students from 14 countries and regions with friendly notes.

Following his opening remarks, DiRECT staff presented on academic affairs, insurance, daily life, and more.
We hope the orientation helps the new students smoothly kick off their fruitful and pleasant academic life in Sendai!

P.S.
Prior to the orientation, senior international students joined as icebreakers, and made the new students relaxed.
After the icebreak, the senior students took the new students for lunch and a short campus tour.
Many thanks!
