Students whose Resident Status is about to expire should visit Sendai Regional Immigration Bureau for an extension.
Refer to the flowchart below for the detailed procedure.

When your graduation (program completion) will be extended, you may need to extend your period of stay depending on the length of the allowed period. In such a case, you may be asked to submit additional documents other than the regular application documents.
