New Student Orientation Fall 2022
New Student Orientation by DiRECT was held on 30 September for those who enrolled in the Graduate School of Science in October 2022. It was the first face-to-face orientation in three years, and some who are still abroad joined online as well.
The orientation, for 19 students from 9 countries, started with a welcome speech by our director, Professor Naokazu Shibata, then information on academic matters, daily life, disaster prevention, etc., was provided with written materials, slides, and videos.
We hope the orientation will be of good help to new students to make their academic life in Sendai fruitful and pleasant!
