This is the monthly signing deadline and payment schedule for the MEXT Scholarship and MEXT Honors Scholarship (gakushu shoreihi) in Academic Year 2024 (April 2024 to March 2024).

Please pay close attention to the following things to receive your monthly stipend:

◆Meet a signing deadline every month.
<The deadline at the Student Support Section, School of Science is NOON of the monthly signing due date!>

◆If you miss the signing deadline, the payment schedule cannot be made as planned.

◆Visiting the Student Support Section within the first three business days is preferable as a general rule. Please note that the signing deadlines especially for September, December, and March are scheduled shorter than other months so we highly recommend you go to the section on the first day of the month.

◆If you are not able to meet the deadline, inform the Student Support Section in advance.

◆Make sure to bring your Residence Card at the time of signing because the office needs to confirm your residence period.
