- IGPAS (International Graduate Program for Advanced Science)
The International Graduate Program for Advanced Science (IGPAS) was initiated in October 2004 as one of the first International Priority Graduate Programs supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, and Technology (MEXT). The lecture courses are taught in English, and the students are not required to learn the Japanese language, although they are encouraged to learn it in their daily lives.
As for the IGPAS, the MEXT (Japanese Government) scholarship opportunities are available to the applicants for 2026, 2027, and 2028 admissions, who pass the entrance examination with excellent performance as well as meet the designated eligibility by MEXT.

Students applying to this program can choose to enter the school either in April or October. Lectures will be given in either English or Japanese languages.
