"Nuclear structure calculation for double-beta decay"

Neutrinoless double-beta decay will confirm the Majorana nature of the neutrino and will provide information on the neutrino mass hierarchy. To extract the neutrino mass from the measured half-life of the neutrinoless double-beta decay, we need theoretical values of the phase space factor and the nuclear matrix element. In this seminar, I will review the recent nuclear structure calculations for the nuclear matrix elements and discuss the correlations that influence the values of the nuclear matrix elements.
