Assistant Professor Yuta Ishii won the Young Scientist Award of Society of Muon and Meson Science of Japan for his excellent research on ferroelectricity induced by the cycloidal magnetism based on the combination of muon spin relaxation technique and synchrotron soft x-ray diffraction technique.
