Abstract
Lattice gauge theory is the first-principle computational approach in quantum field theory. It is very powerful for investigating particle and nuclear physics. Nowadays, the application of quantum computing to lattice gauge theory is actively discussed. In this talk, I will overview the basic idea and recent developments of lattice gauge theory.
