Susumu Ito (Department of Physics) will receive the 16th (FY2025) JSPS Ikushi Prize

Susumu Ito, a third-year doctoral student in the Department of Physics, has been selected as a recipient of the 16th (FY2025) JSPS Ikushi Prize.

The JSPS Ikushi Prize aims to foster young researchers by formally recognizing outstanding doctoral students who are expected to contribute to the future development of academic research in Japan, thereby enhancing their motivation for study and research.

The award ceremony is scheduled to be held at the Japan Academy on March 3, 2026.
